Nura Sarmiento, founder of Skapa Ehf (2020), is a Tourism and Culture Administrator with a solid academic and professional background. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Culture and a Master's degree in Heritage Studies, both obtained from the University of Valparaíso, Chile, and officially validated by the University of Iceland (HÍ).

Between 2019 and 2023, Nura actively participated in the Spanish-language storytelling sessions of the Reykjavík Library Network. She has also been involved in various literary events organized by the Skriðuklaustur Institute (Meningarsetur og Sögustaður), where she has contributed to the promotion and celebration of literature and cultural heritage.
